Vicki Duneman, LMT, CMT
In a lifetime of education and service work I have learned to listen to individuals and respond to their needs. As a massage therapist for over 20 years I have used these skills to focus on the mind and body issues of my clients. I take seriously the name under which my business was formed. To me “A Gift of Hands” expresses both the ability and compassion with which I strive to work on each individual. It also speaks to the “gift” that is “a touch of hands” upon each person who comes through the door.
A bit of history:
A background in Social Work taught me to work with individuals and assist in identifying and reaching goals. Having worked with people from many nations, multiple age groups, and across a wide range of life circumstances, I find tremendous value in acceptance and tolerance of diversity. In business, being realistic, systematic, and comprehensive in dealing with people and their ideas is essential. Formal education and trainings gave me an openness to others’ perspectives, and a willingness to try out new ways to address clients' needs. In working with individuals I’ve learned patience, compassion, and the importance of sincerity in all interactions. In massage, relationship, trust, listening and competence are keys to the success of relaxation and healing.
